Job Description:

• Set up and operate plastic injection-molding machines

• Set machine controls and regulate molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time

• Assist mold setters to safely complete mold changes

• Maintain the set points to produce a quality part at the optimum cycle

• Inspect all tools needed to complete mold change

• Simple troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment

• Reset and start all material and conveyor equipment

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Basic understanding of the science behind injection molding

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
